Teens at Risk – Addiction and Depression

www.tmwmedia.com A lot of depressed people, especially teenagers, also have problems with alcohol or other drugs. Sometimes the depression comes first and people try using drugs as a way to escape. Other times, the alcohol or other drug use comes first, and depression is caused by the drug itself, the withdrawal from it or the problems that substance abuse causes. The important point is that if someone has one or both of these problems, the sooner they get help the better. Teens at Risk teaches how to be honest about both issues – showing how depressed teens can deal effectively with their illness without substance abuse and how to communicate with people who can help them get into treatment.

MOTIVATION – “Be Great, Powerful Beyond Measure” – Best Inspirational Video Ever [Original]

Connect with me on Facebook: bit.ly Video footage from Snatch. Audio clips from Muhammad Ali’s speech, Rocky, and Coach Carter. Still photography by Gabriel Stiritz and Lauren Herreid. Music from Transformers and Gladiator. Hanz Zimmer. This is a fan-made video. VIDEO SCRIPT/LYRICS: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure, beyond measure. Ima show you, how great I am. Last night I cut the light off in my bedroom, hit the switch, and was in the bed before the room was dark. Ima show you, how great I am. Only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalized a brick, Im so mean I make medicine sick. Ima show you, how great I am. This kids gonna be the best kid in the world. This kids gonna be somebody better than anybody I ever knew. Ima show you, how great I am. I have wrastled with an alligator, I done tussled with a whale, I done handcuffed lightnin, thrown thunder in jail. Ima show you, how great I am. All you chumps are gonna bow when I whoop him, all of you, I know you got him, I know youve got him picked, but the mans in trouble, Ima show you how great I am. But somewhere along the line you changed, you stopped being you. You let people stick a finger in your face and tell you youre no good, and when things got hard, you started looking for something to blame, like a big shadow. Let me tell you something you already know, the world aint all sunshine and rainbows, its a very mean and nasty place

Wetrix: Tutorial

I do play games that aren’t Star Fox, in fact, I’ve joined up with N64HS recently, and I’ve started submiting my scores for Wetrix there. Wetrix is one of my favorite puzzle games ever, though Tetris Attack is still better. It came out on N64 and Dreamcast, but it seems to be a pretty obscure game. People don’t know what they’re missing. So what this video is, is the 8 tutorial levels of the game, that outline the basic idea behind the game. The game is really easy to play, it involves creating lakes from massive deulges of rain, and evaporating them with fireballs. Pretty simple, and when you know how to play, it’s really fun and kind of addictive. Again, no VCR, no way to hook my N64 up to my CPU, so this is yet again an emulation video. I’m kinda suprised though, all the other game modes, the background effect doesn’t render properly. Oh well, not a problem. Expect more Wetrix videos in the future, the tutorial restricts my scoring. It’s never mentioned in the tutorial, but score works something like this: Points scored (fireballs, repairing holes, etc) x (Number of Ducks x 2) x 10 (if a rainbow is in play). Use Algebra for that duck score piece. Number of lakes influences your score as well, but I’m not sure how to be honest. For a bonus where lake scoring doesn’t come into play. Say you score 60 points from a repair. You have 2 ducks and a rainbow. Here’s what it would look like: 60 x 4 x 10 = 2400 points The fireball I dropped in the final lesson had to equal a lot
