I was in a hurry today but felt like I needed to do this video. I was asked to discuss how to deal with judgments from family, friends and yourself. Basically, you will need to honor your process. Take a few minutes, hours, days to prepare before you decide on how to be honest and then how to deal with the judgments that follow. Use whichever techniques work for you and continue in your process of being open with yourself and others. Just do and ask for the Universe’s assistance with understanding, acceptance and love. My latest original… I want to thank all who take the time to listen because to me it truly shows how awesome you all are and how much you care which is amazing, so thank you! Lyrics: I said goodbye, you say hello. I turn around, but there you go. Like a maze with no escape. I’m separated from fate. These turns they twist and wind. And I’m afraid I’ll never find. Chorus: You’d never twist what I would say, And honesty is honestly the best policy, But how to be honest, When I don’t know a thing? How to be honest, When I don’t know me? Chorus:I don’t want to break you, But I know I can’t take you, And so I’m caught, Between a rock and a heartache. Bridge You see me for what I truly could be, You’ve never let me down before, But in all fairness, You should really settle the score. Chorus:I don’t want to break you, But I know I can’t take you, And so I’m caught, Between a rock and a heartache.
Hey. The original song was sooo hot, I had to learn how to play it. And I just recently got my hands on the amazing Micro BR-80, I decided why not try it on my classic. I don’t do slide, don’t know how, to be honest, but it’s supposed to sound similar. Anyway, I used my cheap classic guitar, with build-in preamp. It sucks in terms of sound, also I haven’t replaced the strings in a while, so don’t judge me too much. For effects I used Fruity. Also, I uploaded a Guitar Pro file for those who want to play this as well :) www.2shared.com You’ll need to listen to the song a bit to get those bendings working right, but it should give you the basics, at least. Thanks for listening!
www.tmwmedia.com A lot of depressed people, especially teenagers, also have problems with alcohol or other drugs. Sometimes the depression comes first and people try using drugs as a way to escape. Other times, the alcohol or other drug use comes first, and depression is caused by the drug itself, the withdrawal from it or the problems that substance abuse causes. The important point is that if someone has one or both of these problems, the sooner they get help the better. Teens at Risk teaches how to be honest about both issues – showing how depressed teens can deal effectively with their illness without substance abuse and how to communicate with people who can help them get into treatment.
Ian Yue and Mai Cha Vang do a story about a young Hmong man from St. Paul who’s been keeping a secret from his family for fear of angering his parents: He’s gay.
